Overview

Located in the heart of Canary Wharf at 20 Crossharbour Plaza, Another Brother Canary Wharf stands out as a refined coffee shop that balances quality, atmosphere, and thoughtful service with ease. This spot has quickly become a go-to for Londoners seeking more than just a caffeine fix. It offers an inviting space that feels both spacious and intimate, ideal for a quiet study session, casual meet-up, or a slow, unhurried brunch.

The coffee here is undoubtedly the main attraction. With glowing reviews highlighting expertly crafted cappuccinos and cortados, it’s clear the baristas take pride in their precision and care. Whether you’re after a rich, velvety espresso or a smooth iced matcha, the drink menu caters well to diverse tastes, including an impressive selection of cold brews and dairy alternatives. The genuine warmth of the staff adds a subtle layer of comfort, making each visit feel personal and welcoming.

Food at Another Brother complements its coffee perfectly. Menu highlights like the loaded mushroom toast with Parmesan deliver bold, well-seasoned flavors, though it leans on the generous side, promising to satisfy a hearty appetite. The Greek salad and their toastie options—ranging from chicken to tuna melt—add versatile, satisfying choices that suit the casual yet artful ambiance. Quick service ensures meals come hot and fresh, enhancing the overall experience.

The atmosphere itself presents a quiet, artsy vibe, where staff express individuality through their relaxed, unique style instead of standard uniforms. This lends the space a creative, laid-back feel, perfect for professionals, students, and locals who want a chill environment without the buzz of a bustling café crowd. The clientele tends to enjoy solitary moments immersed in work on laptops or engaging in easy conversations, reinforcing the spot’s dual appeal as both a productive haven and a friendly community hub.

Ultimately, Another Brother Canary Wharf delivers a well-rounded coffee shop experience anchored in quality drinks, robust food choices, and an atmosphere designed for comfort and connection. Whether dropping in for a strong coffee to kickstart your day or settling down with friends over a slow brunch, it embodies the spirit of contemporary London cafés—stylish, unpretentious, and reliably excellent.

REALLY amazing coffee. I got a take-away cappuccino with regular diary milk, and it was exceptional. Next time I’ll stay to enjoy the coffee shop’s atmosphere as well as a slice of that lemon cake. The barista was lovely. Highly recommend.

This is easily the best coffee shop in the area. Period. Coffee is absolutely perfect, however you want it. Large selection of teas, cold drinks, etc. and all so tasty! Food is fast, hot, and delicious — try the melt! Totally changed my Sunday mornings! Get the pastries! They’ve created the perfect atmosphere for a coffee shop; ideal for a casual chat or a study session, exactly what you’re looking for in a slow brunch or just grabbing a quick coffee before a meeting. The staff are absolutely the best part! Everyone you’ll meet is friendly with regulars and new visitors just the same. They’re so chill while serving tables or making drinks that it never interrupts the flow, just chill vibes

I really liked the coffee here, the cortado was very well made with silky milk and a well rounded shot. The cinnamon roll was a bit plain and didn't have much flavour though. Nice decor overall and a big space, though a lot of people seem to camp at tables alone with tablets / laptops.

I always come to this Cafe! Amazing food and great coffees! They have good dairy alternatives too. Safa and Mariyam always suggest nice coffees, so in case you’re confused, ask them!

I wanted to try a nice new cafe, and I ended up here! It’s such a nice, quiet, artsy place. The servers don’t have a uniform I think and they looked so cool and wore clothes that expressed their personalities, I quite liked that. I ordered their mushroom toast with the Parmesan (can’t remember the exact name) and an iced matcha. The matcha was alright, I probably would not order that again, but the toast was so delicious. It had some creamy sauce with pepper in it and it was lovely. The toast was so filling though, I ate at 9am and didn’t eat until dinner. I will say though, as nice as the toast was, I struggled to eat it because it was a bit of a messy one because of how loaded it was, the crust was lovely and crispy and the centre was soft, so it was a bit difficult to have with a knife and fork, but it was also difficult to eat with your hands because it’s super loaded and has so much sauce! But overall, so lovely and well seasoned.

Really nice place great coffee however such a shame, one gentleman sitting down occupying 3 seats one for him one for his feet one for his bag especially when you can see people standing around to sit down, another person running a full time business with 3 screens running at once. I think the staff need to intervene.

I would give them 100 stars if I could! There are so many places in London to grab a coffee and a meal, but this one is my absolute favorite. They’re not the cheapest coffee house in London, but if you want a drink and a fresh meal made with love and high-quality ingredients, this is the place to be. Sure, you can grab a cheap coffee at Pret, but I’d rather spend a little more for top-tier quality. I come here every day, and they always start my mornings off right. The Coffee Girls Are Gems!! Shoutout to the manager Miriam and Britney! They’re kind, funny, and always make time for a quick chat when they’re not too busy (which, by the way, is often, always a good sign). Even when dealing with rude customers, they remain professional and friendly. Miriam, the manager, makes me feel so welcome. She treats me like family and somehow can read my mind when it comes to food and drinks. She gives the best recommendations. Walking in and being greeted with the biggest smiles makes all the difference. So a huge thank you to Miriam and Britney. About Those Negative Reviews… Honestly, I don’t understand some of the bad comments, especially about the coffee girls. I’ve seen how some customers treat them with absolute disrespect, and yet, they remain professional. The amount of people I’ve seen that came after brunch hours expecting to be served brunch is insane. Brunch ends at 3 PM. End of story and their job isn’t to have a conversation with everyone (though they usually do anyway!), but if you’re rude to them, don’t expect special treatment, they’re there to make your drink, not stroke your ego. Speaking of Drinks… They’re To Die For! I’m usually a black coffee kind of girl, but they’ve converted me into a matcha latte addict. My go-to recommendation? A matcha latte with two shots of espresso, coconut milk, and cherry syrup. Sounds crazy, but trust me, it’s incredible! They also make amazing homemade syrups and unique drinks. The Tiramisu Latte (with actual mascarpone on top (like a little snack after your drink)) was stunning. My absolute favorite syrups? Cherry, vanilla, and brown sugar. Knowing I’m paying for a matcha latte with homemade, fresh syrups is such a plus. The Food? Absolutely Stunning! Shoutout to Sofian, the head chef. His food is beautifully crafted and tastes like heaven. My top picks: • Creamy mushrooms on toast • The Buttie • The F.A.T. They have super delicious pastries if you want something quick as well. And it gets even better. They have a three-course meal experience called the Supper Club. The highlights? Delicious arancini balls, super tender beef cheeks with the most amazing mashed potatoes, and a stunning pistachio tiramisu. One Last Shoutout Big kudos to the new guy, Alvero. He’s doing an amazing job!
